She is passionate about placing lived experience at the core of her practice and centering the voices of those she works alongside. Isabella works with a range of abilities to support in building people’s capacity, personal autonomy, and values all forms of expression. The space offered is LGBTIAQ+ friendly, neurodivergent affirming, and accepting of all Peoples.

Isabella’s approach is trauma-informed, person-centered and grounded in connectedness as a way of working to build trusting relationships. She has been working alongside adolescents and adults in supporting emotional regulation, understanding social barriers, supporting people to build self-compassion, and discovering their voice through the process of Creative Arts Therapy.

Isabella works creatively from an embodied and somatic lens as a way of entering into presence and working with the moment. Isabella works with passion to support the whole person framework through the consideration of the Polyvagal Theory and Intersectionality. Their multi-modal value is not limited to any one modality. Isabella encourages the intermodal shift using creative writing, movement, visual arts, expressive dance, presence, and working with the intimacy of the moment as the access & entry point to meaning-making.

Isabella is dedicated to developing honest, genuine, and connected therapeutic relationships and is equipped to hold what arises. She is passionate about ongoing learning in the fields of Creative Arts Therapy, Mental Health, and Disability. Isabella acknowledges that the therapeutic space can sometimes be challenging and will always show up with empathy, compassion, openness, playfulness, positivity, and inclusion.
